The connections between climate and social systems can provide solutions through the initiative in designs to ensure rights, foster equality and benefit from climate change. They include access to high quality voluntary reproductive health care. "The Case for Her" has teamed up with Project Drawdown, the world's leading climate solution, to address women's health issues. Project Drawdown aims to invest in and impact the intersection between women's health and climate change.
I chose to create an awareness campaign to inform women to protect themselves through safe sex, asking for assistance and saying "NO" when in uncomfortable situations. The main challenges in Sub Saharan Africa are limited monetary resources, and lack of education and infrastructure is usually destroyed due to the effects of climate change. Which makes it difficult to communicate solutions and address women's sexual reproductive health issues.
